The hot news from the Mobile Industry is all about the new Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone. After the success of the Galaxy S Android smartphone, Samsung is under the development of the new Galaxy S2 Smartphone. As per the reports, Samsung Galaxy S2 Smartphone will be released next year. This new Galaxy S2 smartphone will run on the Android 3.0 Gingerbread platform.

Sources indicate that th new Galaxy S2 smartphone will sport a 4.3-inch touch-screen display which supports a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Other standard features of the Android 3.0 Galaxy S2 smartphone are 8 MegaPixel camera which support Full HD video recording, WiFi 802.b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, built-in GPS and a MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB)


The 4.3-inch Galaxy S2 Smartphone also comes with built in features like accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensors, light and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is no exact information available about the pricing and availability of the smartphone.

Along with the Ideos U8150 Android Smartphone, Huawei Technologies also introduces two more smartphones named Huawei Ideos X5 and the Huawei Ideos X6. Both these smartphones are developed on the Android platform and run the Google Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System. Here are the Specifications and reviews of the new Huawei Ideos X5 and the Huawei Ideos X6 Android smartphones.

Huawei Ideos X6 Smartphone comes powered with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, and 2GB of internal memory. It sports a 4/1-inch touchscreen display supporting a max.resolution of 480X800 pixels. Other Huawei Ideos X6 Android Smartphone features include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, GPS, 5 MegaPixel Camera with flash, HD Video recording, FM tuner, MicroSD card slot and HDMI connector for connecting the smartphone with HDTV.



On the other hand, the Huawei Ideos X5 Android Smartphone features a 3.8-inch toucscreen display. The Specifications of Huawei Ideos X5 Smartphone are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroSD card slot, 5 MegaPixel Camera and FM tuner. It lacks the GPS facility and HD video recording feature. The new Huawei Ideos X5 Smartphone is considered to be a mid-range Android smartphone.

As per the latest news, Huawei Technologies will release the Ideos X5 Android 2.2 Smartphone by end of 2010 and Ideos X6 Smartphone by early 2011. There is no news regarding the pricing of the smartphones available now and we will update you soon.

Recently, a new Android 2.2 mobile phone was launched and it was Huawei Ideos U8150. Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world has made it happen since this new Ideos U8150 is their first Android-based smartphone.

This new Huawei Ideos U8150 supports a 528MHz processor, packs 512MB ROM/256MB RAM, and has a 3.2MP autofocus camera without flash, a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a limited resolution of 320 x 240. Due to Android 2.2, the smartphone is supportive to more than 70,000 applications that are connected with entertainment, communication as well as business management.

Some other notable features of this Huawei Ideos U8150 are that users will be able to access the Internet using HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), which is quickly becoming a more common network feature on high-end smartphones. The download speed of the handset is 7.2Mb/s and it is available with 3G+ Wi-Fi dual network. Moreover, the handset can be used as a Wi-Fi router.

This new smartphone not only runs fast, but also supports functions such as voice dialing, voice navigation, and the ability to run applications off the SD card, supported up to 16GB memory. It also supports Bleutooth, GSM and GPS. Available in black, yellow, blue, and purple, the Ideos U8150, with Android 2.2 is priced between US$100 and US$200, depending on the market.
